It appeared suddenly and without warning with a note scribbled onto a post-it, "Have fun!" — The Threads Team, July 2084
After much curiosity, we turned it on and right away knew we had to share this with the world. To us, this means that our future selves must be trying to tell us something…perhaps there's a deeper meaning?
Or perhaps it's nothing more than a sign that we shouldn't take ourselves too seriously, and that there should be some fun in the work that we do (and that time travel might be possible).
Chat is noisy. It interrupts flow for those that need dedicated maker time. But it's also necessary for the quick and urgent; harmony between different kinds of workplace messaging was missing.
We believe that the ideal platform is one that combines both synchronous (real-time) and asynchronous (any-time) communication in an elegant way.
That's what Threads was built to do, and we'd love to have you try it. For now, give the mini-game a whirl and see how you can move forward as a team faster by making the switch to Threads.
