The thread composer starts as one block, making it feel natural to share something short —— a question, a status update, a screenshot, or a link to something with context.

Write freely
The goal of a thread is to reduce distractions in order to help put a focus on thinking and writing.
For example, at Threads, we share weekly updates about things we've built.

Using the / menu allows you to insert all kinds of media and attachments to a block.

A thread is easier to read when you break up paragraphs or concepts into blocks.
Press RETURN twice in a row to add a block, or click ADD BLOCK

Mention people and channels
Type @ to mention people in your Organization. Mentioning someone will ensure that they get notified about a thread even if they're not in that channel.
Type # to mention a channel.
